Paola Antonini is a gorgeous and optimistic woman that went through a lot. Like many people going through bad times in their lives, Paola too had her worst day ever. She happened to experience a fatal accident that left her with an amputated leg.

Paola Antonini is from Brazil, and she is a model. She inspires more than 205 million people with her optimism through her Instagram.
Paola went through a fatal car accident. She was hit by a car, a tragic event that left her with an amputated leg.
Paola had to learn new ways of living. She wrote: “Before and after! 7 years between these photos and so much has changed! I can only thank God immensely for this chance to live and for this beautiful purpose!”
After the accident, she was devastated. “When I amputated my leg 7 years ago, I had several doubts. What would my life be like? How would my relationship with my body be from there?” said Paola.
Paola lives with a prosthetic leg while pursuing her career.
Paola Antonini said it was difficult for her to accept her new appearance. “Looking in the mirror was a super special moment. It was there that I really understood what had happened and understood what my new ’me’ would be like. My new self, with several scars and a little leg, was no less handsome. It was just different,” confessed Antonini.
Paola calls loving and respecting yourself a courageous effort that pays off in peace.
She said: “It was beautiful to rediscover myself as a ’woman’ and discover that our beauty is everywhere, the least of which is our physical body. While it was challenging, it was beautiful to relearn how to balance at 20. It was beautiful to take those first steps again. I look back, and I know that there were always fears and uncertainties, but I know that courage prevailed.”
Paola Antonini is an inspiration for everyone going through rough times.
She went through many physiotherapy sessions to be who she is today. She never hides her prosthetic leg and posts many pics in her bikini on Instagram. Paola wants to be a role model for other amputees.
She spreads positivity and optimistic energy to other people. Her followers get emotional and do not keep their gratefulness towards her for themselves! She is loved, and they call her “their warrior”.
Paola has a smiley face in all her pictures and enjoys life to the fullest. She is in high demand as a model in Brazil.
She posts many stylish outfits and fashion inspiration on her Instagram, too. She treats her prosthetic leg as an accessory and how beautiful it looks!

What a great story about a smart woman who realizes that true beauty starts in your heart. One of my favorite quotes that I had posted on my refrigerator, when I was raising my 3 Son’s by myself was “ Life is 10 percent what happens to you & 90 percent what YOU do about it.
