He Was Arrested in Connection with Charlie Kirk Assassination
Authorities have taken 22-year-old Tyler Robinson of Utah into custody in connection with the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, law enforcement officials confirmed Friday.
An official speaking to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity—because they were not authorized to discuss the case—confirmed Robinson’s identity. According to reports, Robinson’s own father, a veteran in law enforcement, detained him at home until officers arrived to make the arrest.
The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to determine Robinson’s exact motive and whether others may have been involved.
