1. Right After Eating

Bathing immediately after a meal can disrupt digestion. When you eat, your body directs blood flow to your stomach to help break down food. If you bathe right after, the sudden temperature change and blood circulation shift can slow digestion, leading to bloating, discomfort, or even indigestion. Wait at least 30–60 minutes before taking a bath.

2. After Strenuous Exercise

A post-workout bath might sound relaxing, but jumping into the shower right after intense exercise can be risky. Your body temperature remains elevated, and a sudden change, especially with cold water, can shock your system, causing muscle stiffness or even fainting. Let your body cool down naturally for at least 20–30 minutes before bathing.
