Dad supports his daughter’s business by modeling her crocheted crop tops, and he has become a sensation on the internet. Who does not love a supportive dad? What about a funny one?
Prejudices are not absent in their daily life, but it does not stop Jeff Beaver. He supports his daughter’s business with pride.
Emily started her business in 2015
Emily Beaver was very passionate about crocheting. In 2015, she turned her passion into a small business.
In 2021, her business bloomed because her father, Jeff, stepped in and started modeling her crocheted crop tops. He instantly became a sensation all over the internet. “My dad never really hesitated to help me. He’s always been a huge supporter of me and my work,” says Emily.
Jeff, her dad, became sensational.
“I, very much enjoyed seeing my creations on friends and the joy they got from wearing my art,” wrote Emily on her website. Firstly, it was her mother who modeled her crop tops on Instagram. Later, Emily asked her dad to participate.
“The internet totally ate it up, and every time I included my parents, I knew that there was something special about the concept of a family wearing crochet tops together,” shared Emily.
Her dad does not want to stop.
Her family business bloomed, and Emily quit her regular job. She has more than 600,000 followers on TikTok and more than 30,000 followers on Instagram. On the other hand,c Jeff loves to stir up the audience’s interest. “My dad doing whatever it takes to sell my crochet tops,” says Emily.
The prejudice they face does not stop the dad.
Many people made fun of Jeff modeling the crop tops his daughter made. They claimed it was inappropriate for a man to do that. However, the dad and daughter did not stop. “It’s hard to be negative about a family that has fun together. The most valuable part of our work together is the quality time we spend together laughing and making fun videos,” said Emily.
They are used to fame.
All three of them are very creative when it comes to the content-making process. They were well-adjust to being famous, and they enjoy it! “The attention is a lot of fun! We never knew how big this would get, but we are embracing the excitement!” added Emily.
