Women should stop feeling insecure about their body features. It is easier said than done but start with these parts first.

Body features are what make us unique. Women, but also men, should stop feeling insecure about them. We know it is easier said than done, but you can start with small steps.

1. Scars and stretch marks

Scars and stretch marks are normal. Do not try to avoid wearing clothes you love because they might show. 100 million people acquire scars after surgeries, so do not worry about yours.

Selena Gomez shared a picture of her scar after a kidney transplant. She became an inspiration!

I have scars on my back that prevented me from wearing a bikini for a long time. I have an appendix scar that I remember I wanted to put a tattoo over. Eventually, I got to thinking they looked pretty cool. My appendix scar, for example, looks cute because it resembles a caterpillar.© chokeholder / Reddit

2. Armpit folds

Sleeveless tops might show armpit folds, but that should not worry you as it is normal. I, for starters, have armpit folds. Call me a chubby-skinny. LOL. It happens! It does not always mean you have excess weight! The skin might fold because of the push-up bra or genetics. IT IS NORMAL!

3. Hairy toes

Some people have hairy toes, and others do not. As a woman, you are told to have a hairless body. WHICH IS TOTAL BS! 🙂 Did you know that hair on the toes is a good sign? It means you have good blood circulation. On the other hand, the older we become, the denser the hair.

4. “Imperfect” skin

Shaving does not make your hair thicker. The hair on the thighs is finer and not so visible. Even if it is, depending on your origin, it is up to you to do whatever you want with your body. On another note, spider veins are so hated. You only have to take care of them not to turn into varicose veins. Everything else is normal!

5. Sweaty breasts in the summertime

Sweat under the breasts in summer is normal as it prevents the body from overheating. Do not feel insecure about it. Sweating is a natural process!

6. Natural nails

Now, let us talk about manicures! The thing is that nowadays, the industry itself is on the rise. However, you can choose not to wear any color! To be honest: There are days that I prefer my nails without any gel or color, and they look nicer!

You can save money, too! Ha!

I think it looks tacky, especially the elaborate and bedazzled ones; it’s just not for me. I don’t want to spend money and time on something I am not interested in. And my hobbies aren’t very friendly for having manicured nails, like painting and gardening.© sparrow_304 / Reddit

7. Necklines

I did not know this, but scientists say that necklines or “Venus rings” are a status symbol, indicating good health, referring to a girl’s statue.

I got them, too! I have chubby baby necklines, and I love them! Do not feel insecure about them.

8. Chub rub

Many women might experience chub rub, i.e, thighs chafing against each other. It might be uncomfortable, but you should never think it will make you less beautiful! To prevent it, you might wear short cotton shorts under your skirt or use an antiperspirant.

If I wear a skirt in summer, my thighs rub against each other painfully. I was dating a guy and was afraid that he would notice I had shorts under my skirt. Once he put his hand on my knee, the skirt pulled up and revealed the shorts. He was surprised when I told him I wear them because of the skin chafing. But he didn’t think it was a problem at all. After that, I stopped feeling insecure about this condition.

9. A protruding belly button
