1. Real men respect you as you are.
A good man will accept and respect you for who you are. He will not want to change your individuality but will be proud of the person you represent.
2. Your intelligence is appreciated more than your looks.
Real men know to appreciate intelligence more than physical appearance. Beauty is temporary, but a loving, intelligent, and funny woman is forever. He will love you with or without makeup. He will like you well-dressed or in your pajamas.
3. Real men are selfless.
He does not complain if he gives more than you. He is selfless and gets happier when he makes you happy. Real men know that the give-and-take idea in a relationship is not always there, but ups and downs can be present. Still, he is not afraid to give his 100%.
4. He does not give up.
No matter the obstacles, he will not give up on you or the relationship. A good man knows that everything, even a relationship, needs good faith and hard work to stay strong and healthy.
6. Real men make up for their mistakes.
Everybody makes mistakes because no one is perfect. Your man is not, and neither are you. The important thing is to acknowledge them and make up for them. He will take responsibility and be ready to taste the consequences.
7. He does not lie.
A good man is honest and straightforward. He does not believe in lying. He chooses always to tell the truth, no matter how hard it can be. He wants to build trust.
8. Real men are open about their past.
He will not leave you clueless and wondering or assuming things for his life. A good man will be an open book about his past life because, before a relationship, he believes in friendship.
9. He will not try to behave like someone else.
A good man knows that a woman does not need a play-pretend. He will never try to behave like someone else to impress you. He will only be himself as he is: strong, weak, vulnerable, loving, and more.
10. Real men have realistic expectations.
