The ‘World’s Most Jealous’ wife wants her husband to take a lie detector test every time he comes home. Read more about this bizarre story.

World’s most jealous woman subjects her husband to daily lie detector tests upon returning home from work.

Steve Wood, 40, and Debbi Wood, 52, got married in 2014 in Leicester, England, following a three-year courtship.

Daily Mail reported that Debbie, who met Steve through a friend in 2011, prohibits him from watching television and viewing images of women in magazines.

In 2013, Woods gained media attention when Mrs. Wood was diagnosed with Othello Syndrome. This rare psychiatric condition leads affected individuals to falsely accuse their partners of infidelity, without any supporting evidence.

Debbie explained to the outlet at the time that she was aware of her issue, but unable to control it.

“I’m relieved to finally know what’s wrong with me but I still have a long way to go. Even if Steve pops out for 15 minutes to buy a pint of milk, I make him take a lie detector test as soon as he gets home. I get so worried that he’s been eyeing up the shop assistant that I just have to know the truth.”

Despite her husband’s faithfulness, the “World’s Most Jealous” wife couldn’t bring herself to trust him whenever he looked at other women while they were out.

She said: “I think he’s gorgeous, but that’s not the issue – it’s about whether or not I can trust him not to look at other women while he is out on his own.”

“I don’t want him thinking they’re hot. If you’re in a relationship and you’re happy with your partner, you should only have eyes for that person,” she added.

She was left devastated after a long-term relationship broke her heart before she met Steve in 2011.

Debbie was introduced to Steve Wood on Facebook by a friend in 2011. Following a few weeks of messaging through Messenger, Debbie went to London for their first date.

She told Daily Mail: “I knew we were meant to be a couple when we shared our first kiss under London Bridge. I didn’t mean to fall in love again after my last relationship, but Steve stole my heart.”

“The only problem was that we lived so far apart. We started to get serious and made plans to move in together, but I then discovered that Steve had been seeing another girl around the time we’d first met. He claimed he didn’t think we were exclusive because of the distance, and I forgave him, but I started to doubt whether or not he could be faithful,” she added.

After their engagement in 2013, the woman’s jealousy intensified as the couple started living together.

To prevent him from accessing explicit images of women, she set up child-proof filters on his laptop and phone and prohibited him from watching TV shows that included women.

She said: “One night, an advert for a women’s razor came on television, and I felt panicky thinking that Steve was eyeing the model up. The only thing that could put my mind at rest was banning him from watching any programs that have women in them. Now, I won’t even let him watch The Weakest Link in case he fancies Anne Robinson but I’m scared he’ll have a sneaky look when I’m in another room.”

Debbie admitted purchasing a lie detector device online to verify where her fiance’s eyes were wandering and when.

“In general, he’s quite truthful but I have caught him lying a few times about looking at other women,” she said.

In 2015, the couple participated in an interview with Philip Scholfield on This Morning, where they responded to numerous inquiries about their relationship.

“But aren’t you going to frighten him off?” Philip asked Debbie.

“I don’t think I could frighten him off if I tried,” she replied.

When asked by Schofield about his fear levels in his relationship with Debbie, Steve responded: “There is no danger of me running away ‘any time soon’ as if I was going to run away from my wife, I’d have done it already.”

  1. Lol she I sent just jealous she makes him work like a dog. I watched the programme that featured them. He has to clean cook and serve her and god help him if he gets it wrong, she shows her bad temper and fussiness thinking the world owes her. She sits on benefits because she says it’s her right as she is too big to move sometimes.
