Halsey, the American singer and new mother as of July 2021, has shared that she now incorporates breast milk into her skincare routine, stating that it is the “best ingredient ever.”
Halsey spilled the secrets of her skincare routine in an interview with Nylon Magazine. She mentioned using hyaluronic acid, lip masks, and makeup wipes to keep her skin healthy and clean, especially after editorial shoots.
Halsey insists that breast milk is the best skincare ingredient ever, despite skepticism.
She said: “I’ve always been really conscious about what goes on my skin, but when your baby is kissing you or snuggled up against you, you become hyper-cognisant of what’s on your face,” she said. “I love the Biologique Repecharge’s colostrum VG serum, which I got into when I first had my son. I started breastfeeding and I figured out that breast milk is the best skincare ingredient ever because it’s so full of anti-oxidants and good fats and stuff that speed up the healing process.”
The Grammy nominee is now a firm believer in its advantages.
Halsey revealed that after giving birth to her son Ender in 2021, she discovered the benefits of using breast milk on her skin.
“I started breastfeeding, and I figured out that breast milk is the best skincare ingredient ever because it’s so full of antioxidants and good fats and stuff that speed up the healing process,” said Halsey.
Halsey shares her almost two-year-old son, Ender Ridley Aydin, with her boyfriend Alev Aydin. According to the Daily Mail, the couple met in 2018 when Alev was hired to write her Sony Pictures biopic, which was never produced.
Halsey spoke to Billboard in 2021 about her motherhood journey.

She stated that being a mom to her son, Ender is the best thing that ever happened to her.
She said: “Being a mother to my son makes being a musician seem pretty boring. Something really amazing happened when I did have my son, which is the absolute, glorious eradication and death of my ego. Nothing matters when I go home to him. He thinks I’m perfect and great and everything.”
The singer emphasized that her top priority in life is her son and she will create new music whenever she feels like it.
“I’m going to create when I want to. The only expectation I have for myself is to be a really good mom, and the rest will fall into place around that,” said Halsey.
In October 2021, a fan asked Halsey about how motherhood had impacted her life. Halsey replied, confessing that she used to feel guilty about working after giving birth to her child, Ender.
so many ways. I feel guilty for working I feel guilty when I’m not working. I’m terrified I’ll always struggle to live up to my own expectations. But I have also experienced love unlike any other and have finally learned how to ask for help and admit when I’m lonely or in need. https://t.co/m3wxHRSb4o
