Recalling it as a relatively calm day, Dahman had moments of rest and avoided complex procedures. However, at 12:23 am, Diana’s car crashed in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris, leading to extensive efforts by medics. Despite their attempts, she suffered cardiac arrest in the ambulance.
By 2:06 am, Princess Diana had arrived at the hospital.
