According to sources, Ben Affleck has been living in a rental property, while Lopez canceled her North American tour to focus on her family.
Though the situation appears tense, the potential sale of their home, which might result in a financial loss after fees and renovations, doesn’t necessarily indicate the end of their marriage.
PEOPLE Magazine cites a source explaining that both Affleck and Lopez have reasons for selling the house that aren’t related to their relationship.
“Ben never liked the house. It’s too far away from his kids,” the source said. As for Lopez, they said: “The house is way too big for her.”
The 38,000-square-foot mansion features impressive amenities, including 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 12-car garage, a pool, and a sports complex with facilities for basketball, pickleball, a gym, and a boxing ring.
Despite the luxury, a grand mansion doesn’t guarantee a happy marriage. With Affleck reportedly moving out while filming “The Accountant 2” and neither refuting rumors of marital issues, speculation about their relationship continues to grow.
