From red carpet to courtroom, Kim Kardashian is inching closer to turning her legal dream into reality.
After six years of study under California’s unique Law Office Study Program, the reality star turned entrepreneur revealed that she expects her bar exam results in two weeks. The California State Bar is set to release results for the July exam on November 7, perfectly aligning with Kim’s timeline.
Kim began her unconventional legal journey in 2018, skipping traditional law school to study directly under attorneys, as California is one of the few states that allow this path. Over the years, she’s logged more than 5,000 hours of supervised study, balancing her demanding career with a rigorous schedule of reading, exams, and legal training.
Her journey hasn’t been easy. Kim failed the “baby bar” — the First-Year Law Students’ Exam — three times before finally passing on her fourth attempt in 2021, an achievement she described as one of the proudest moments of her life. She later went on to pass the MPRE (Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination), another major milestone required before the full bar exam.
Now, all that stands between her and becoming a licensed attorney is the final bar exam result. If she passes, Kim will officially earn her law license, marking the culmination of a six-year transformation from TV icon to aspiring legal advocate.
Kardashian has said her ultimate goal is to build a criminal justice reform firm and focus on wrongful convictions and clemency cases, continuing the advocacy work she began years ago.
“I dream of one day creating a successful law firm and helping people who truly deserve a second chance,” she shared previously.
From reality TV stardom to real-life justice, Kim Kardashian’s next act might just take place in the courtroom.
