A leading name in the adult entertainment industry has shared her very honest take on what she believes makes the “perfect” size.
Belle Olivia, a 22-year-old British star and one of the industry’s top earners, has never shied away from speaking her mind. Recently, she has sparked headlines by openly discussing her personal preferences — and breaking down the myth that “bigger is always better.”

For years, the adult industry has fueled the belief that women universally want larger sizes, with anything smaller seen as a letdown. But Olivia argues that this stereotype doesn’t reflect reality, either for women in general or for performers in her field.
She explained that while films often exaggerate size for dramatic effect, off-camera many women prefer something far more moderate. “There’s no way big is always better, and because me and a lot of other girls in the industry are so short and petite, that can be a real disadvantage as it gets sore for us when we’re making our content,” Olivia told the Daily Star.
When asked what she considers the ideal size, Olivia was clear: around 6.5 inches. She added, “We also don’t want them too girthy. It doesn’t hurt, and it seems to be the perfect fit. That’s also what we want from our boyfriends, by the way.”
Her comments serve as a reminder that men shouldn’t compare themselves to what they see in adult films, which often create unrealistic expectations. As she put it, “Men can forget what they see in porn that is exceptional, and we have a saying that a ‘boyfriend penis’ is what we would far rather prefer.”

Interestingly, research backs up her claim. A 2022 study found that women on average preferred a size of 6.4 inches for casual encounters, but leaned slightly smaller — about 6.3 inches — for long-term partners.
While the difference is minimal, it underscores the importance of comfort and compatibility over sheer measurement. Studies worldwide place the average length between 3.7 and 7 inches, showing a wide range of what’s considered “normal.”
Olivia’s perspective adds a human touch to the conversation: in the end, what matters most isn’t size, but how comfortable and connected partners feel with one another.
