  1. My grandson has Down Syndrome. He has been called “retarded”, “a mongoloid”, “should have been aborted”. These comments have broken my heart. He is beautiful, happy, and brings joy to everyone that comes in contact with him. I hope he has the advantages that Sophia has had. My daughter doesn’t see anything wrong with him, and neither do we. He has the most beautiful blue/hazel eyes, the biggest smile, and that giggle, oh that giggle makes my heart smile. To those of you who don’t have the pleasure of knowing and loving a child with a disability, ( haaa, sorry but I don’t see it,) I just wish they could meet him, and see him shine. God Bless you Sofia, and thank you for sharing your success!!

  2. I think she is beautiful. And I glade that Victoria’s Secret has done this I think it is ashame that they talk so much about her haveing Down syndrome. Like she deserves what she worked for with or with out Down syndrome.

  5. I think that what Victoria’s Secret has done is awesome. ALL deserve the chance to shine and shine she does. So elegant and beautiful, I applaud her determination and strength.

  6. Yes, but she has a very mild version of the syndrome, which means she doesn’t really look like she has it. Most people with Downs Syndrome are physically and mentally more disabled, and this just gives false hope to them.
