The U.S. Department of Justice has published a new tranche of materials from its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, releasing millions of pages of documents alongside thousands of videos and images under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
The disclosure — which officials say includes more than 3 million pages, over 2,000 videos, and approximately 180,000 images — contains previously unseen photographs that appear to depict Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, in compromising and unsettling poses with an unidentified adult woman.
In several of the images, Andrew is seen crouching on all fours over the woman as she lies on the floor. In others, his hand appears to rest on her midsection. Faces in the photographs have been redacted, and no information has been provided regarding the date, location, or circumstances in which the images were taken.
The release has reignited public scrutiny due to Prince Andrew’s well-documented association with Epstein. However, the Department of Justice stressed that the images, as released, do not establish criminal wrongdoing and lack sufficient context to draw definitive conclusions.
According to the DOJ, the materials are being made public to comply with the Transparency Act, though many files remain heavily redacted to protect ongoing legal considerations and privacy concerns.
Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles and honours in 2025 over his links to Epstein, has consistently denied all allegations of misconduct.
