Former adult-film performer Lana Rhoades has publicly expressed strong regret for her time in the adult industry and is seeking to have all her earlier videos removed from circulation.
Rhoades, who entered the adult industry at the age of 19, says she was “broke and vulnerable” at the time and felt ill-equipped to navigate the pressures and demands of the work.
She has admitted that she no longer has rights over much of her earlier content and therefore lacks the ability to remove it from all sites, but states she would if she could.
“A lot of the videos I have no rights under, otherwise I probably would have deleted them all by now.”
Rhoades has also spoken about the long-term emotional impact of her adult-film work, describing scenes she found deeply traumatic and revealing that the stigma and mental health consequences persist.
