Movie legend and Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly’s granddaughter has grown up to inherit the same iconic beauty that made her grandmother a Hollywood icon.
Although Grace Kelly’s screen career lasted only six years, she left an indelible mark on Hollywood during the 1950s.

The epitome of class and beauty
Grace Kelly was one of the most sought-after actresses of her time. She began performing at age 20 in New York City theater productions before launching a busy television career during the Golden Age of Television. Actresses of that era exuded poise and elegance—and Grace Kelly was perhaps the most stunning of them all.
The Philadelphia-born star also appeared in numerous films between 1952 and 1956. She starred in the adventure-romance Mogambo alongside Clark Gable and Ava Gardner, earning a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.

The following year, she appeared in The Country Girl with Bing Crosby, winning an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Among the 11 films she made in just five years, notable highlights include the comedy-musical High Society with Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra, as well as three Alfred Hitchcock classics: Dial M for Murder, Rear Window, and To Catch a Thief with Cary Grant.
Retired from the big screen at just 26 years old
At just 26, Grace Kelly retired from Hollywood to marry Prince Rainier III, becoming Princess of Monaco.
In her brief but brilliant career, she starred in 11 films, won two Golden Globes and an Academy Award, and married a prince. Her new royal duties required her to step away from acting, dedicating herself to charitable and cultural endeavors. Grace Kelly also had three children: Caroline, Princess of Hanover; Albert II, Prince of Monaco; and Princess Stéphanie.

Tragically, Grace Kelly died in a car accident after suffering a stroke while driving. On September 13, 1982, she lost control of her 10-year-old Rover 3500, which tumbled 120 feet off a winding mountain road near Monte Carlo. Her daughter Stéphanie, 17 at the time and in the passenger seat, tried unsuccessfully to regain control. She survived, but Princess Grace succumbed to her injuries the following day, on September 14, 1982. Life support was removed after her brain ceased functioning, and her heart and breathing stopped about 15 minutes later. She was just 52 years old.
Grace Kelly’s grandchildren

Grace Kelly’s three children went on to have 11 grandchildren, all of whom have inherited their grandmother’s elegance and style.
One of her youngest, Camille Gottlieb, is 27 and the daughter of Grace Kelly’s youngest child, Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, and Jean-Raymond Gottlieb. Camille has two older half-siblings, including her half-sister Pauline Ducruet, who also bears a striking resemblance to their grandmother. Camille inherited Grace Kelly’s blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, and her connection is unmistakable when she wears red lipstick.
She is not eligible for the Monegasque throne, as her parents were unmarried when she was born. Her father’s identity was initially kept secret, according to Town & Country magazine. Camille’s Instagram, followed by nearly 115,000 fans, is filled with images showing her undeniable resemblance to her legendary grandmother.

It is bittersweet that Grace Kelly never lived to see her beautiful family grow—she would undoubtedly have been proud of them all.
