When Grandma and Grandpa stayed overnight at their son’s home, nobody anticipated the humor that would unfold. While getting ready for bed, Grandpa discovered a familiar-looking little blue pill in his son’s medicine cabinet.
Curious, Grandpa asked his son if he could try one of those pills. Cautious, the son replied, “I’m not sure that’s a good idea, Dad. These pills are really strong and pretty costly.”
Grandpa wasn’t deterred and asked, “How much does one pill cost?” The son hesitated, then replied, “Ten dollars each.” Undaunted, he said, “I don’t mind – I’ll leave the money under the pillow before we go in the morning.”
The next morning, as the son tidied up, he discovered a surprising amount under the pillow: $110. Confused, he called his dad and said, “Dad, the pills are only $10 each. Why did you leave $110?”
Without missing a beat, he chuckled and replied, “Oh, I know. The extra hundred is from Grandma!”
