We’ve all heard stories of adult film stars who leave their mundane jobs and find overnight success, earning thousands—or even millions—a month.
So, what can someone new to the industry realistically expect to make?
How much can you earn on Pornhub?
Amateur adult content creator Vee Snow previously shared insights into how much you can potentially earn on Pornhub.
“Once you’ve successfully joined, you can begin uploading content and earning money through your free-to-view videos. You’ll earn a substantial cut of the ad revenue generated by your videos.
Snow revealed how much she had earned at the time: “I have been directly paid $2,559 as of this writing. That’s for four years, over 200 videos, and almost 2.5 million views.”
She also noted: “Some models report that their first video made them $1k in a few months, but the ones who make real money are the ones who go viral.”
Pornhub itself states that “the average RPM (rate per mille, or $ per 1,000 views) is $0.69” (an unsurprising figure, given the context).
“It doesn’t sound like a lot, and honestly, it really isn’t compared to what Pornhub makes from advertisers,” Snow admitted.
“However, between that and OnlyFans, some occasional live-cam sessions on Chaturbate or MyFreeCams, and sales of personal items and custom content on Manyvids, I manage about $18k a year for my 15-20 hours per week ‘hobby.’”
