Footage circulating online shows the 31-year-old seated beneath a canopy, addressing the audience with a handheld microphone as banners reading “The American Comeback” and “Prove Me Wrong” hung behind him. Moments later, a single gunshot shattered the event, sending students and attendees fleeing in panic across the campus, according to The Mirror.
Kirk, a prominent radio host and podcaster, was no stranger to controversy, often drawing criticism for his outspoken and combative remarks toward those who challenged his views.
