Vein damage can occur because of many reasons. Almost everyone might get varicose veins. Even though they are not dangerous, the lumpy or swollen looks are not something pleasant that everyone would like to see on their legs.

Daily habits contribute to vein damage. How? Well… Things that you might not even think about! If you break these habits, you might keep your veins healthy.

1. The way you shave your legs

Do not shave your legs in a hurry because you may cut yourself. This will affect your veins which are more prone to bleeding. Use a cream or pick razors designed for dry skin.

2. Forgetting to exfoliate your legs

Exfoliating itself will not prevent varicose veins, but the leg massage will help stimulate blood flow. Better blood circulation = faster collagen production.

3. Using a dry brush too often

Dry brushing has some benefits for the skin. However, it is not vein-friendly when done too often. The bristles may cause micro-cuts that can lead to veins being more vulnerable to bleeding.

4. Being a runner

Running itself does not cause varicose veins. However, some exercises can lead to vein damage. How? The increased blood volume may damage the veins and lead to less efficient blood circulation.

5. Overconsuming sugar
