Anna Beatrix Pereira Alves, known online as “Anna Polly,” was found dead in the courtyard of the four-star Mont Blanc Apart Hotel in Nova Iguaçu on January 23.
According to The U.S. Sun, the 27-year-old plunged from the balcony during an explicit video shoot.
Authorities released images showing an investigator standing over her body, covered by a white sheet.
At the time of the incident, Alves was reportedly filming with two men. Both of them gave conflicting statements to police. They were questioned and later released.
Investigators from the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Unit have not ruled out foul play.
Alves’ boyfriend, Pedro Henrique was not involved in the filming. He shared his grief on social media, urging authorities to uncover the truth.
“As time passes, the pain only grows,” Henrique wrote, as cited by The U.S. Sun. “If someone is responsible, justice will be served.”
