Tan firmly believes in the impact of diet on well-being and looks, attributing 70% of the equation to food choices. He prioritizes a breakfast of six hard-boiled eggs, removing two yolks for cholesterol reasons. Alongside a glass of milk, he occasionally adds avocado and berries for a protein-packed energy boost.

Tan’s daily meals include chicken with rice, grilled vegetables, and fish soup. Although he has a weakness for ice cream, he limits himself to enjoying it only during the first half of the day. Tan consciously avoids coffee and tea, preferring to stay hydrated with ample water intake.

The 57-year-old man devotes about 90 minutes to his exercise routine.

Tan integrates strength training into his schedule, striving for four weekly sessions but adapting to a minimum of three when busy. He devotes approximately 30 minutes to this activity. Following strength training, he complements it with cardio training, choosing brisk walking on a treadmill over jogging due to a knee injury. Furthermore, he places great importance on swimming, aiming to spend around an hour daily at an evening swimming pool.

He refrains from using any skincare products.

Despite speculations of plastic surgery or unique cosmetics, Tan addresses the rumors and clarifies his approach, stating: “I have sensitive skin that’s why there are only 2 things I use daily: gel face wash and moisturizing cream.”

After an unsatisfactory experience with a gifted Botox procedure, Tan chose not to continue seeking cosmetic treatments. Nevertheless, he does acknowledge resorting to hair dye to tackle his gray hair.

He avoids taking late baths.

Tan emphasizes the importance of a regular sleep routine, prioritizing bedtime before 11 PM and waking up early. He firmly believes that late-night work or movie-watching doesn’t promote good health. Additionally, he avoids eating 5-6 hours before sleeping to ensure restful sleep.

Chuando says: “Trust me, going to bed early is worth it. Having had enough sleep, you’ll be able to do more things during the day rather than if you work at night.”

Chuando Tan believes labeling him as ‘forever young is unjust.’

In a recent interview on longevity, he candidly addressed the constant inquiries about his age-defying looks. He said: “Eventually gets to me. I do feel the pressure. Because, deep inside, I know I’m not that young. I’m aging. So I’m not going to give the false impression that I’m forever young. Maybe they all want a shortcut, a secret to how to keep their youth right?”

Tan reflects on the journey of aging, openly sharing his thoughts and feelings; I would be lying if I say that it never crossed my mind that I want to learn how not to age. But this is something that you can’t avoid because aging is inevitable.”

Chuando Tan, thrust into viral fame, grappled with the downsides of overwhelming attention and shared his experience.
