15 Things Women Should NOT Feel Guilty For

A list of things women should ever feel guilty for

Women are considered sensitive, fragile, and soft. In this era where people try to tell you how to be, what to say, what to do, women may feel unnecessary guilt about themselves.

Viral Strange will list some things no woman should ever apologize for!

1. For saying “NO”!

Sometimes it may seem a bit difficult to say no, but it will be worse if you say ‘YES’ only because you have to. Say ‘NO’ whenever you feel like it.

2. Liking ‘manly’ or ‘girly’ things

First of all, there shouldn’t be ‘manly’ or ‘girly’ things. We’re all people, and we can do whatever we want! If you’re a woman and love to fix cars, GO FOR IT! If you love knitting, GO FOR IT! Simple as that.

3. Not wearing/Wearing too much makeup

Has anyone told you in a no-makeup day: “Are you sick”? or “You’re so naturally beautiful, why put so much makeup on”?
When you choose not to wear makeup only because you’re a woman, and our beloved society has said so, don’t! If you love wearing makeup all day, every day – do it! There’s no one telling us what to do with our faces. It’s ours, ain’t it?

4. For food choices

“Why don’t you eat meat?” or “Don’t you care about getting fat?”. My food choices are MY choices. No woman should feel guilty because she chooses a burger instead of a salad, or vice versa!

5. For having fun

Yeah! That’s right! There’s NO GUILT in having fun! Do whatever makes you happy, anywhere – anytime! (without hurting other people, of course)

6. For being selfish

Love yourself first. Put yourself first. Selfishness isn’t that bad when it comes to having time for yourself. Don’t apologize for it!

7. For having emotions

Ok. Women have emotions. Men have emotions. Everybody’s got emotions! Being happy, angry, disappointed, sad – don’t apologize for your feelings!

8. For needing help and asking for it

Don’t feel ashamed when you need help. Ask for it, without feeling guilt! We are only human – We cannot handle everything ourselves.

9. For thinking different

Everyone is entitled to free speech. Everyone has opinions – different ones! Unless you’re being rude, do not apologize for thinking differently than others!

10. For your clothing style

Just like opinions, the clothing style also is a personal matter. Unless you’re breaking your work’s dress code, wear whatever you like and don’t feel guilty about it!

11. For being proud!

I mean… this shouldn’t even exist along with the other things. Why should someone feel ashamed of being proud of their achievements? Don’t feel pressed by other people around you, who may try to bring you down with words. You did it! Be proud of it – whatever it is your achievement!

12. For embracing and loving your body

People will always have something to say, whether you’ve gained, or lost some pounds. The most important thing is for you to LOVE your body just the way it is – in each phase of it.

13. For not being a ‘walking Wikipedia’

It’s not wrong not knowing everything. I mean, why should it be? We are a work in progress; we learn each day!

14. For the lifestyle

Do not apologize for your lifestyle! Whether you love hiking, choosing a career, or being a housewife – whatever you do in your life – is your decision! Do not feel guilty about the way you live!

15. For your sexual life

Your body – your business! You may have a thousand experiences or choose to have a lifetime partner – that’s your choice! You don’t have to explain or even apologize for it!
