Justin Bieber has once again left fans puzzled with his latest social media move. The singer changed his Instagram handle from @justinbieber to @lilbieber, raising eyebrows among his followers.
Although Bieber did not publicly explain the reason behind the surprising change, he appeared to hint at its meaning by posting black-and-white photos cuddling his and Hailey Bieber’s 10-month-old son, Jack Blues, along with the caption, “lil Bieber.”
Fans quickly took to X to react, with one user saying, “I hope he isn’t trying to rebrand as a rapper.” Another commented, “He’s so desperate for attention, this is getting pathetic.” A third worried follower wrote, “Can someone please just get him help already? We are watching him slowly crumble, and these social media things are just alarming at this point.” Other concerned fans urged him to “seek help before it’s too late.”
Earlier this month, the 31-year-old pop star also drew attention after sharing a series of social media posts about God and drugs, which many interpreted as a cry for help.
Alongside several images accompanied by a thumbs-up emoji, Bieber wrote in all caps: “IM ACCEPTING THAT GOD FORGIVES ME THIS MORNING. SO CAN I CAN FORGIVE MYSELF AND OTHERS TODAY. JOIN ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE.”
