🥉 Milan surprisingly ranks as the third city in the world spending on OF in 2025.
👀 According to the latest survey conducted by OnlyGuider, a platform specialized in analyzing OF data, the Lombard capital has achieved a “sensational” and rather unexpected result, surpassed only by Atlanta and Orlando.
📈 THE DATA COLLECTED
- Total spending in Milan alone: $58 million
- Spending by population density: $423,256 per 10,000 residents
- Estimated average spending: ~€37 per resident
- Nearly +20% growth compared to 2024
🇮🇹 A trend that doesn’t only involve Milan…
In 2025, Italy spent approximately $355 million, with a 24.5% increase, ranking 4th worldwide among countries with the highest spending, behind the USA, the United Kingdom, and Canada. According to OnlyGuider, this trend is not temporary: usage in the country now appears to be structural, signaling new forms of consumption.
The survey does not access private transactions but is based on:
- online search volumes
- publicly available corporate financial data
- an algorithm that distributes spending according to population density
The result is an anonymous but representative estimate of the cities that spend the most.

Unfortunately, the study cannot distinguish between categories. However, considering the types of creators active on the platform, it’s not difficult to draw some assumptions.
💶 It would also be interesting to understand how this spending is distributed and how much of it is concentrated among a small number of “top spenders.” Platforms like this often show a highly uneven consumption pattern.
