Teenagers Mistaking Old Music Gems For New Artists

Teenagers love popular songs. Many of them can mistake old gems for new artists today, and this thread on Twitter shows that.

Teenagers love popular songs! We live in the era of modern technology, which allows reaching an infinity of information. Being born in this era, many kids and young people tend to know everything. Kids… Right? We used to say that, too, once upon a time.

However, teenagers often come across old gems that have been a lifetime hit. They don’t know the artists or the songs, and they usually mistake them for new bops!

A thread on Twitter counts more than 325K likes. It became popular because many parents wrote about how their kids told them they discovered some new music. Which, in fact, was the old, parent-being-a-teen-era music. Well… Teenagers think they only have taste and know how to have fun.
