Expressing gratitude for users’ support, Chew emphasized TikTok’s efforts to safeguard data and maintain a manipulation-free platform. He warned of the legislation’s potential consequences, stating it could result in a TikTok ban in the U.S., benefiting a few social media giants while harming creators and small businesses.
