King Charles III has honored the Princess of Wales, currently battling cancer, with a new title. Kate Middleton and Prince William are also recognized with new titles for their public service, alongside Queen Camilla.
Recently, King Charles III announced the appointment of Kate Middleton as the “Royal Companion of The Order of the Companions of Honour.“
This title is unprecedented, marking the first holder. Established by King George V in 1917, The Order of the Companions acknowledges exceptional contributions in public service, arts, medicine, and sciences.
Kate’s steadfast commitment to her work persists despite health challenges. Her dedication shines through initiatives like the Little Princess Trust and Shaping Us, signaling her unwavering resolve. Although focusing on recovery, Kate Middleton aims to promptly resume royal duties.
Queen Camilla is bestowed the title “Grand Master and First Dame Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.”
Meanwhile, Prince William assumes the prestigious title of “Great Master of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath,” previously held by King Charles.
Despite his wife’s health struggles, Prince William dutifully continues his royal obligations, stepping in for his ailing father.
While many rejoiced at the princess’s recognition, others voiced concerns. Some questioned the timing, suggesting it was a diversion from pressing matters.
“When something is going wrong, they get new titles and medals 🏅? What is coming out soon?“ pondered one. “Definitely a distraction as to what is really happening,“ echoed another, hinting at underlying uncertainties.
After the princess’s diagnosis, Kate Middleton and Prince William issued a statement.
