From her captivating rendition of “Flowers,” prompting Taylor Swift and Oprah to join in dancing, to her numerous outfit changes, Miley Cyrus kept the Grammy Awards audience thoroughly entertained after she first her first Grammy Award for the Record of the Year.
“This award is amazing. But I really hope that it doesn’t change anything because my life was beautiful yesterday. Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular,” she said, before adding with a laugh, “So please don’t think that this is important, even though it’s very important, right guys?”
She went on to thank “everyone that’s standing on this stage right now Tom, Tyler, Michael and Greg. Our teams, my team, Crush, Columbia, my mommy, my sister, my love, my main gays because look how good I look.”

During her acceptance speech for the prestigious Record of the Year award for “Flowers,” Miley, donned in a glamorous one-shouldered gown with a daring hip-high slit, injected humor by quipping, “I don’t think I forgot anyone. But I might have forgotten underwear. Bye!” The witty remark elicited laughter and applause as she gracefully exited the stage.
Despite being nominated for six awards, including Album of the Year (won by Taylor Swift), Miley Cyrus secured two victories in the categories of Record of the Year and Pop Solo Performance. Her dynamic presence and playful spirit made her a standout at the event.
