She Opened Up About Dating a Man With a Micropenis — Here’s What It’s Really Like

Penny Talbot is drawing attention online for her unusual sex life.

Not for controversy or headlines filled with drama, but for something far simpler: she’s genuinely content in a relationship many would quietly judge.

The reason? Her partner, Jake Timms, was born with a condition known as micropenis — a term used when a man’s genital size measures under 2.8 inches when fully erect. It’s estimated to affect just 0.6% of men in the whole world, according to Healthline. The condition may be rare, but the stigma attached to it is anything but.

For Penny, though, none of that matters.

“When I saw Jake’s for the first time, I wasn’t horrified, it was the opposite,” she told the Daily Star.

“I thought it was absolutely perfect. Jake and I have a very healthy sex life and I’m always left satisfied.”

Served in the army

Jake, who previously served in the British army, only became aware that he was different when he began sharing living spaces with other soldiers. Still, rather than letting it shake his confidence, he chose to embrace himself as he is, at the size he carries…

“I’ve never had an issue in the bedroom,” Jake said. “There is definitely more to sex than the size of your penis. It’s about technique.”

That confidence is exactly what Penny values most. To her, Jake ticks every box.

“Yes, he is below average,” she said, “but for me it’s never been about the size of a man’s willy.”

A 2014 study in the United States, which looked at over 1,600 men, found that the average erect penis measures about 14.2 cm (5.6 inches) in length and 12.2 cm (4.8 inches) in circumference.

Found ways to adapt

While Jake’s size falls below that average, Penny says it has actually worked in their favor — particularly after she underwent a hysterectomy 18 months ago due to endometriosis.

“Doctors warned me that sex would be painful,” Penny explained.

“So actually Jake’s small penis size was perfect because it didn’t cause me any pain.”

Instead of allowing her medical condition to create distance between them, the couple found ways to adjust and even deepen their connection. They focus on communication, creativity, and finding what works for them.

“There are lots of other ways to spice up your sex life… it doesn’t all just come down to your bloke’s manhood,” Penny said.

“We use sex toys, like vibrators, but again, nothing too big as I’m still quite delicate down there,” she added.

Old army buddies says this

Behind closed doors, the couple keeps things playful and exciting.

“We like to dress up and do role play. I love to buy naughty underwear. It’s so sexy,” she said. “For us, it’s all about the foreplay and we love experimenting.”

Jake has also learned to take jokes in stride — especially from his former army friends, who occasionally tease him for his unusual penis size.

“It’s just typical boys’ banter,” Penny explained. “I’ve heard them refer to his willy as a piece of dental floss before, but he just laughs it off.”

Even his family joins in on the humor.

“She giggles along when he jokes that his two older brothers got all the goods,” Penny said.

While some people have suggested that Jake consider enlargement procedures, Penny is confidently against the idea.

“That would be my worst nightmare,” she said. “He says, ‘it is what it is, why should I change it?’ and I totally agree. I would be horrified if something went wrong in surgery.”

In Penny’s eyes, Jake may not fit conventional expectations, but that doesn’t make him any less desirable. If anything, their story shows that connection, confidence, and compatibility matter far more — and their connection proves that chemistry isn’t measured in inches.
