Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Orylan got her first tattoo at just 14. Now 26, she has transformed nearly every inch of her body with bold alterations — from tattooing her eyeballs to splitting her tongue and even implanting a heart-shaped design in her hand.
While she embraces her unconventional look, she admits not everyone does.
“Most people will say I should have never changed myself,” Orylan recently told NeedToKnow. “But beauty is subjective, and I believe the way I look now is the beauty I’ve always wanted to achieve.”
Her striking appearance draws attention daily. Strangers often stare, point, or react with visible discomfort. Online, the backlash is harsher. Hiding behind anonymity, trolls flood her social media with cruel remarks like “You looked better before,” “You must have had a bad childhood,” or even “You look like a demon.”
Still, with over 143,000 Instagram followers, the content creator remains unapologetically herself.
“I think I can be beautiful in both ways,” she said. “But I feel much more myself in the skin I’m in today.”
Orylan has also opted for fang-shaped veneers and says she’s far from done. Unlike others who may map out their transformation, she modifies based on instinct.
“I don’t have a goal of looking like anything in particular,” she explained. “I go day by day, seeing if I want to change something. Maybe more face tattoos. Maybe even tattooing my tongue.”
One of her more unusual claims? That her split tongue allows her to taste two different flavors at once.
“I tried it when it healed — Coke and Sprite. I was confused on the flavor combination,” she laughed.
Surprisingly, the tongue-splitting procedure only cost her $700 and involved numbing the area with lidocaine before slicing and stitching.
For others thinking of following in her footsteps, Orylan offers one simple message:
“Don’t listen to haters. If it makes you happy, do it out of love. We should only do things that bring us joy. For me, that’s body modification — and I wish that same happiness for others.”
