Dairy Queen employees: Manager forced us to eat ice cream mixed with cleaning solution

Angela Patton recounted that her 17-year-old daughter was allegedly compelled to consume ice cream contaminated with a cleaning solution during a mandatory meeting at Dairy Queen in Campton. According to her daughter’s account, employees were directed by the manager to eat the ice cream, regardless of their preferences, as a punishment for inadequate cleaning of the ice cream machine.

The manager purportedly intended for the employees to understand what some customers might have experienced due to the alleged cleaning issues. Subsequently, several employees, including minors, complained of a burning sensation after ingesting the ice cream. Around eight employees, including Patton’s daughter, resigned from their positions, and some sought medical attention at the emergency room.

The incident sparked outrage within the community, with many expressing concern over the safety and well-being of the employees, particularly the minors involved. Local authorities have launched an investigation into the matter to determine the extent of negligence or misconduct on the part of the Dairy Queen management.
